Original editorial content, analysis, commentary, methodology, presentation, visual design, classifications, derived metrics, data selection, verification, normalisation, arrangement and compilation are protected to the extent provided by applicable copyright and related-rights law.
2. Database rights
European ECM & Investor Intelligence reserves all rights in its transaction database and related compilations to the extent protected by applicable EU and national law. This includes, where the statutory requirements are met, the sui generis database right established by Directive 96/9/EC and implemented in Spain through Articles 133 to 137 of the consolidated Spanish Intellectual Property Law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/1996).
The underlying public facts and third-party source materials remain subject to their own legal status and the rights of their respective owners. Rights are asserted in the independent investment of time, effort and resources used for discovery, verification, reconciliation, classification, normalisation, quality control, selection and structured presentation.
3. Permitted normal use
You may browse the website for your own informational purposes and may quote limited extracts where legally permitted, provided that the extract is not misleading and European ECM & Investor Intelligence is identified as the source where appropriate. Statutory exceptions and limitations remain unaffected.
4. Restricted extraction and redistribution
Except where expressly permitted by mandatory law or prior written permission, you may not:
- download, extract, scrape, crawl, harvest or copy the database or a substantial part of it in bulk;
- repeatedly or systematically extract or reuse portions in a manner that conflicts with normal exploitation of the database or unjustifiably prejudices the legitimate interests of the database maker;
- republish, redistribute, syndicate, sell, license or commercially exploit the compiled dataset or substantial extracts from it;
- use the database to build, populate, validate or maintain a competing or substitute transaction database or data product;
- circumvent search caps, rate limits, access controls or other technical measures intended to prevent automated or bulk extraction;
- remove or obscure copyright, database-rights, source or provenance notices.
5. Text and data mining reservation
Rights for text and data mining are expressly reserved to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. For the Spanish legal framework, this reservation is intended to operate in accordance with Article 67(3) of Real Decreto-ley 24/2021. European ECM & Investor Intelligence also communicates the reservation in machine-readable form. Mandatory statutory rights and exceptions remain unaffected.
6. Source materials
Issuer releases, exchange notices, regulator publications and other third-party materials referenced by the platform are not claimed as proprietary merely because they are linked or cited here. The platform's independent work lies, among other things, in discovery, verification, reconciliation, classification, normalisation, calculations, quality control, selection and structured presentation.
7. Licensing and permissions
For permission to reproduce, redistribute, license or programmatically use platform content or data beyond permitted normal use, contact [email protected].
8. No waiver
Failure to enforce a restriction in a particular case does not waive any copyright, database right, contractual right or other legal entitlement.
