This notice is structured under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where applicable, Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. Website delivery and security

The website is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection and request data may be processed, including IP address, request time, requested resource, referrer information, browser or user-agent information, protocol information and security signals. This processing is used to deliver the website, maintain availability, prevent abuse and attacks, and diagnose technical faults.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are secure, reliable and efficient operation of the website and protection of the service and its data. Cloudflare and relevant infrastructure sub-processors may receive data for these purposes. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, applicable GDPR transfer mechanisms and safeguards are used as required.

3. Cookies and tracking

The application itself does not intentionally use advertising, marketing or profiling cookies and does not embed third-party advertising trackers. Cloudflare security features may use technically necessary cookies or similar mechanisms where required to protect the website or complete a security challenge.

4. Database requests

Interactive transaction-database requests are processed server-side as targeted search requests. Results are capped, unrestricted listing and sequential browsing are disabled, and technical request information may be processed for rate limiting, abuse prevention and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Email contact

If you contact European ECM & Investor Intelligence by email, the information you provide is processed to handle and respond to the communication. Depending on the context, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Email communications may be processed by the email-service provider used to operate the European ECM & Investor Intelligence mailbox.

6. External links

The platform contains links to issuer, exchange, regulator, LinkedIn and other third-party websites. Data is transmitted to those providers only when you choose to open an external link. Their own privacy rules then apply.

7. Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by applicable law. Technical security and access information is retained only according to operational, security and infrastructure-provider requirements. The platform does not maintain an advertising profile of website visitors.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn for the future. Requests may be sent to [email protected].

9. Supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority. Where Spain is the competent supervisory jurisdiction, this is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

10. Right to object

Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation in accordance with Article 21 GDPR.

11. Changes

This notice will be updated if processing activities, service providers or legal requirements materially change.
